GENERAL F.A.Q'S
Even though "Broken" is in our name, that is NOT how our pedals should be! Don't worry though, we're here to help. Hit us up through the contact form on our website and give us some details on what you're experiencing. From there we can decide on whether or not it should be shipped back to us for repair, or if it's a simple fix caused by a bad cable or something.
Yes! We have a limited lifetime warranty on all of our pedals. We will repair or replace any pedal we make FOR FREE as long as we are in business and the necessary materials are available. This warranty does NOT cover
- External wear and tear to paint, artwork, hardware, enclosure, or knobs.
-Any damage done by opening up the pedal and poking around. We will still repair the pedal, but for a small fee if so.
- Any damage done to the pedal by using the wrong power supply. All of our products use standard 9V DC center negative power. Anything other than that WILL damage your pedal. We will still fix it, but for a small bench fee.
- Any modifications done to the circuit by anyone but Broken Box Audio.
First of all, thank you! This is a one man operation and your support truly means a lot. That said,
- All items that are in "In Stock" at the time of purchase are already built and ready to ship within 2 business days.
- If it's marked "Pre-order" at the time of purchase, you can expect it to be shipped in 4-6 weeks.
All of our pedals use 9V DC center negative power. Anything other than this WILL damage the pedal and is not covered under warranty. We also highly recommend using a high quality isolated power supply. "Daisy chaining" or using an un-isolated power supply such as a One Spot can lead to unwanted noise or your pedal not sounding like it should. Power is important and your pedals deserve good, clean power ;)
Honestly, valid question.
My name's Adam Elizarraraz and I live in Nashville, TN. Every pedal is assembled by hand here in my humble apartment.
I've been building pedals since 2023 and have been obsessed with tone long before then. I've been a touring and session guitarist for almost 10 years. I'm passionate about bringing tones that have inspired me on the road and in the studio to other player's pedalboards and studio spaces.
At the end of the day, I hope that these devices inspire you too. Thanks for being here.
